Models with finish black have a 2-year warranty. This warranty covers manufacturing defects as well as possible problems occurring during normal use.
Black paint is sensitive to friction.
In the event of scratching, the protection of the steel may be locally reduced, which may lead to the appearance of corrosion.
To avoid any spread, we offer, on request, a vial of touch-up paint with brush to carry out local touch-ups.
To preserve your lid:
- Avoid prolonged impacts, scratches or friction.
- Clean only with a soft, non-abrasive cloth.
⚠️ Important : Our lids are designed to last, but prolonged exposure to salty air, particularly less than 20 km from the coast, can accelerate their aging and cause a deterioration of their finish or premature oxidation.
For this reason, we do not recommend their use by the sea.
The warranty does not cover damage linked to exposure to a saline environment.
Remember to put the lid back on after each use of your plancha BBQThis effectively protects the griddle and the firebox from adverse weather conditions and ensures their longevity, while preserving the aesthetic appeal of your plancha BBQ.
This lid is not a damper; it should not be positioned on the plancha BBQ in the presence of glowing embers.
Black color:
To preserve the finish and to protect your black painted lid, clean it regularly with a soft sponge and soapy water.
Avoid abrasive products or harsh cleaners that could damage the paint.
After cleaning, dry thoroughly to avoid the formation of marks or corrosion.
Protect the cover from bumps and scratches to maintain its impeccable aesthetics.
When not in use, store it away from the elements or under a suitable cover to prolong its lifespan.
Corten color:
To preserve the natural appearance and protection of your Corten steel cover, simply clean it with clean water after each use.
For more stubborn dirt, use mild soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
Be sure to dry the cover thoroughly to avoid prolonged moisture buildup.
Corten steel develops its rusty patina over time, which acts as a natural protection, so there is no need to use harsh chemicals or treatments.
Store the cover away from the weather when not in use to prolong its life.
