The Corten steel structure requires almost no maintenance. This material is specially designed to protect itself naturally through a patina that forms over time.
This surface layer acts as a barrier against corrosion and evolves gradually depending on external conditions. It is therefore normal for the color to change and stabilize over the months.
For maintenance, simply remove any dirt or deposits (leaves, dust), and if necessary, clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Avoid harsh chemicals or cleaning products, which could damage the natural patina.
A seasoning process is necessary before first use.

Once the seasoning is complete, here's how to use your plancha BBQ :
- Use well-dried wood (less than 10% moisture), ideally beech, oak or ash, to limit smoke and obtain good embers.
