Our fire pit grills benefit from a guarantee covering manufacturing defects as well as possible problems arising during normal use.
Corten steel models are guaranteed for 10 years. Naturally weather-resistant, Corten develops a characteristic protective patina over time which contributes to its longevity.
Models with a black finish are guaranteed for 2 years. Their high temperature paint offers long-lasting protection, but remains naturally more sensitive to UV, friction and shock. In the event of a scratch, slight oxidation may appear locally. A touch-up bottle with brush can be provided to you upon simple request in order to easily restore the finish.
⚠️ Important : In a coastal environment, salty air can accelerate the aging of materials and finishes.
For the fire pit grills in Corten steel installed less than 20 km from the coast, the warranty is limited to 3 years, compared to 10 years under normal conditions of use.
For black models, paint damage or corrosion phenomena linked to exposure to salt air are not covered by the warranty.
Season the cooking plate before first use.
Full instructions are available in our "Documentation" and "FAQ" sections.
Once the cooking plate has been seasoned, use your fire pit grill as follows:
- Use well-seasoned wood with a moisture content below 10%, ideally beech, oak or ash, to reduce smoke and produce good embers.
- Arrange 10 × 35 cm logs with the bark facing outwards, keeping them at least 5 cm below the cooking plate.
- Place a suitable firelighter in the centre and light it with a long match.
- Never use alcohol or petrol. Always wear gloves, as parts of the fire pit grill quickly become extremely hot.
Maintenance - Corten Fire pit grill
The fire pit grills in Corten steel offer an elegant natural patina. An occasional rinse with clean water and a soft brush is enough to remove dirt and debris.
Avoid harsh chemicals or cleaning products, which could alter the natural patina.
To maintain a uniform color, delicately apply a thin layer of vegetable oil (such as linseed or rapeseed oil) once or twice a year. Rust runoff can stain surrounding surfaces, so protect sensitive areas carefully.
Maintenance - Black Fire pit grill
To preserve the high-temperature black finish, clean the fire pit grill with clean water and a soft sponge.
For stubborn stains, apply a neutral, non-abrasive soap, then rinse and dry completely to prevent corrosion.
Avoid aggressive products, rough sponges or solvents which could damage the paint.
Protecting your fire pit grill is imperative to guarantee its longevity. It is strongly recommended to use the protective cover whenever your fire pit grill is not in use (sold separately, available in our bundles).

Do you offer accessories for your fire pit grills?
Yes, we offer a full range of accessories and outdoor furniture for a complete cooking experience. You can find these products in the Collection section of our website.
Can you use charcoal?
We do not recommend using charcoal on its own, as it does not provide enough heat across the entire cooking plate. You can, however, use it alongside wood: start with wood, then place charcoal around it to keep the embers glowing for longer. If you have a compact model that uses eco-friendly briquettes, please follow the specific recommendations for that model.
